I’ve had a few swimmers who came to their first private lesson never having swum anything but breaststroke, and after the first hour swam 50 meters of crawl. And in the next lesson, they swam 200 meters of crawl and from then on, there were basically no limits. The only thing we had to fine-tune was technique. And then I also had a swimmer who swam their first pool length of crawl a year later. He was an adult man who had a panic fear of water, so we spent the first few hours just sitting in the shallow end getting used to the water. He overcame that fear, and now I see him every week swimming crawl nonstop for the entire hour. What I mean is that it will take different lengths of time for each of you, but be prepared that you’ll need to dedicate at least 10 hours to it to get through all the drills and levels.
It’s ready for each level and comes with illustrations to print.
I recommend printing it in color (images may be lost in black & white), placing it in a clear folder or plastic sleeve – and taking it straight to the pool.
